The tale of the Gordian knot teaches us that bold action is required when faced with an impossible task. Israel and the Palestinian Authority are pulling and tugging on their Gordian knot in futility. Israel bears 90% of the blame for not using its sword to cut this knot of this impossible task of coexistence with Hamas which is the Palestinian Authority. The Palestinian Authority has in its charter in clear language that it wants to kill all of the Jews on the planet. The people in Gaza have been so conditioned to be violent that, to date, no Muslim nation will accept them in their time of need.
Israel’s Iron Dome, an anti-missile system, while the Iron Dome saved many of its citizens’ lives, the Iron Dome made the Palestinian Authority believe attacking Israelis was just a matter of doing business for its citizens with no cost to its citizens. Israel should have dealt swift military acts of violence for every missile attack from Gaza. It might be that Israel led the Palestinian Authority to attack Israelis because of no reprisals for the Palestinian Authority’s missile attacks.
I am no military expert. I didn’t go to West Point or any other military school, but I can recognize a military blunder when I see one. Israel is allowing people to move South before Israel’s army attacks Hamas in the Northern section of Gaza. Do you see the blunder? I’ll spell it out if you didn’t see Israel’s blunder. The IDF isn’t in Gaza. So, how can the IDF prevent the Hamas terrorists from melting into the fleeing groups of Gaza citizens going Southward at Israel’s direction?
I caught Jake Sullivan on Face the Nation. Sullivan said Israel must refrain from killing innocent citizens in Gaza. Democrats are fond of saying that elections have consequences when Republicans object to Biden’s policies ie, the open Southern border. Therefore, it’s my position there aren’t any innocent civilians in Gaza because the people in Gaza elected Hamas to govern them. Moreover, I have not seen one Gaza citizen denounce Hamas for its murderous rampage of killing 1300 Jews and the taking of Jewish hostages. Even the children in Gaza can’t be classified as innocent. I saw the following broadcast by Hamas; a group of children beating a Jewish toddler with tree branches. Five children when asked what they think of Jews, they all said in some fashion that Jews must be killed. I saw crowds numbering in the hundreds cheering on the returning Hamas “fighters” with their hostages and the corpses of their Jewish victims.
There is a silver lining to this murderous cloud that manifested itself from Gaza. The enemies of Israel, America, and world peace have revealed themselves to all from the common citizen class to the political class.
